senior session | gavin

gavin is a senior at st. mary springs in fond du lac. he wants to attend college with the goal of becoming a music professor at the college level.

for gavin’s senior session, we discussed different location options and what his vision was for his photo shoot. after discussing his goals and options, we chose my studio and the mead library in sheboygan as our shoot locations.

choosing my studio location for his photo shoot helped give us the editorial look and feel that he wanted to achieve. a studio location provides a controlled environment with the added bonus of not worrying about the weather! i have a variety of props and backdrops available to create the mood or feel that you are looking to achieve. you also get privacy with no distractions.

we also chose the mead library, which has areas of concrete walls and steps, and ended with a quick walk down the street to this great set of metal stairs. these areas helped us obtain the look and feel of clean line architecture.

gavin was super excited for his senior session! unlike most teen boys. which was great! his enthusiasm made the shoot fun and helped capture his personality.

in each senior portrait session, my goal is to embrace your senior and their personality. gavin’s shoot definitely accomplished that in these portraits!
