senior session | katie
in this senior session, i enjoyed working with katie, who is a 2024 kohler senior.
katie is a very involved student! she plays volleyball, basketball and is on the track team. she is also involved in several clubs at school including student council, key club, nature club and the national honor society.
katie loves hiking and the outdoors and wanted to capture the fall colors in her session. she was also hoping to get a few shots at river wildlife, where she currently works!
to get all the shots katie was hoping for, we also decided to go to the waelderhaus and the village of kohler for a great brick wall backdrop with colorful, fall vines.

To live in the moment because you will never know what tomorrow might bring
what are your plans after high school? (college, gap year, straight to work?)
I am committed to UW La Crosse to major in elementary education and minor in special education

what’s your favorite candy, or snack? Kit Kat’s are my favorite candy
what are the top 3 things on your bucket list?
1. Go backpacking somewhere along the west coast
2. Spend a month traveling Europe
3. Visit Banff, Canada
how was your experience during your senior session? why should other seniors book with miss lady jane studios? It was amazing! Other seniors should definitely book their session with Miss Lady Jane because they will not regret it. She knew exactly what poses will look good for each location, she was very efficient and we made the most of our time at each location, and she was so nice and accommodating to what I was hoping for in my seniors photos.
my goal in every senior portrait session is to embrace your senior and their personality. katie’s final portraits definitely accomplished this!
